A class is where your students hand in work and you mark it, with Kelvin's working beside each answer. Classes have their own space, your classes, outside the project screens, and My classes in its top band brings you back to the list.
To make a class you need to be an owner, admin or engineer in your firm. Your students never join your firm: they join only the class, with their own accounts.
Make a class

Open My classes and choose New class.

Give it a Class name, and its Starts and Ends dates if you want them shown.

Choose Make the class. You become its teacher, and the class page opens.
For the pilot, every class is for UEERA0036.
Share the class link

On the class page, under Class link, choose Make a link.

Choose Copy straight away, and share the link with your students: in your LMS, by email, or on the board.
Kelvin keeps only a fingerprint of the link, so it can't show it again. It's cleared from the page a few seconds after you copy it, when you switch away from the browser tab, or after 10 minutes. If it wasn't copied, choose Make a new link: the old link then stops working.
A link works for 120 days. The class page shows when it was made, when it stops working, and how many students have joined with it. Close the link stops anyone new joining with it.
Your students
Students appear under Students as they join, by the name they gave. Each sees only their own work, never anyone else's. Take out of the class removes a student and keeps their hand-ins and marks, and Add back returns them.
Other teachers
Under Teachers, choose a colleague in Add a colleague as a teacher, then Add. Teachers are people in your firm. A teacher sees every student's hand-ins and marks them, and nothing else of the students' accounts.
A colleague who is in the class as a student, or has no name on their profile yet, is listed with the reason they can't be added. Take out removes a teacher, and Stop teaching it takes you out. A class always keeps at least one teacher. Your firm's owners and admins can run any of its classes.
Class settings and finishing the class
Under Class settings, Edit the name or term changes the class's name and dates.
At the end of term, choose Finish the class, then Finish it. Finishing closes the class link, so nobody new can join. Every hand-in and mark stays, and students can still read theirs. Reopen the class lets you share a link again.
