The Dashboard is where Kelvin opens. Its Worklist holds what is waiting on you: your firm's open engineering requests, and your own projects whose results are missing or stale.
- 1
Work down the Worklist from the top. The most urgent items come first, and Why says what each one is waiting on.
- 2
Choose an item's name to open it. A request opens its own page, and a project opens in Cycle, Design Conditions or Circuits, by its type.
- 3
Choose the arrow at the end of a row to go straight to the work. For a stale project, that's the station whose record was saved before the project's last save.
- 4
Use Pin readings to choose which counts sit in the strip above the worklist.
What goes on the list
- Every open engineering request your firm has received from a client's Deployr.
- Each of your own refrigeration projects with no cycle results saved, and each of your own HVAC projects with no design conditions entered.
- Each of your own projects with a stale station: a pipe layout, equipment selection, charge, energy analysis or BOM & running cost saved before the project's last save. This is a comparison of dates, not a check of what changed.
The order
Requests that are blocking the client's programme, urgent or overdue come first. Then requests at review required, awaiting information and received; then projects with no or stale results; then requests in progress and approved. Within each, the most recently saved comes first. A request that is blocking, urgent or overdue carries a mark beside its name.
Elsewhere on the Dashboard
- Recent projects lists the projects saved most recently in your firm, and All projects opens Engineering Projects.
- New project starts a project of any type: see Start a project.
- Open Deployr takes you to Deployr in the same tab.
- While the Dashboard is open, the event margin counts requests at review required and requests past their required completion date.
Note
With nothing waiting, the worklist reads Nothing waiting on you. If part of it couldn't load, a notice says which part, and the worklist leaves that part out rather than counting it as none.
