A plan belongs to a firm, not a person: everyone in the firm has what its plan includes. Every member can read Settings → Billing, and the firm's owners and admins buy and change the plan. Prices are on Plans and prices.

Open Settings → Billing. The first sheet gives your firm's plan, its status, seats and renewal date.

Under Billing details, say who invoices are addressed to, A company or Me personally, with the Billing email and billing address, and choose Confirm billing details. Checkout needs them first.

Under Choose a plan, shown while the firm is on Free, pick Professional or Team, how it's Billed, the Currency and the number of Seats, then choose Continue to checkout.

Finish on Stripe's checkout page, which adds the tax that applies from the billing address. Nothing is charged until you confirm there.
Back in Kelvin, the plan shows on Settings → Billing as soon as Stripe confirms it.
What each plan includes
- Free: the refrigerant library, P–h diagrams, single-stage cycles, HVAC Design Conditions and hydronic Circuits. Its reports are watermarked drafts, which can be read and checked but not issued or emailed to a client.
- Project Pass: one project for 60 days, with every cycle type, the whole calculation chain and issued reports. See Buy a project pass.
- Professional: every cycle type, the whole chain, and issued reports with revisions, on every project.
- Team: Professional plus the Engineering Inbox (Requests) and review workflow, firm report branding, shared libraries, the REST API and webhooks, and the Deployr link. It is billed annually, for at least 3 seats.
- Enterprise: Team plus single sign-on, invoice billing and custom reference libraries, quoted for 10 or more seats. Email hello@sentorotech.com.au.
The Professional trial
A firm on Free that has never had a plan gets 14 days of Professional on its first project, starting when that project is saved. No card is needed. A line across the top of the workspace counts the days left. When it ends, the firm carries on as Free, and nothing is deleted.
Change, cancel or pay
- Once the firm subscribes, Manage billing opens Stripe: the card, invoices, billing details, tax ID, seats, plan changes and cancelling.
- If the firm has more members than paid seats, add seats in Manage billing.
- A cancelled plan works until its renewal date, then the firm drops to Free.
- If a renewal payment fails, everything keeps working for 7 days. After that Kelvin works as the Free plan until it's paid. Nothing is deleted.
Note
If Settings → Billing says Billing isn’t switched on yet, every account has full access and nothing is locked.
