A request is raised in the client's Deployr, from a quote, job, asset, site or project, and appears in Kelvin's Inbox by itself. The inbox checks for new requests every 30 seconds.
- 1
Read down the Inbox: every request, grouped by the client that raised it, with its Status and the Step reached.
- 2
Choose a request's title to open its page, where you take it through five steps from review to issue.
- 3
Use the counts across the top, such as Review required, Awaiting information and Open, to see what is waiting on the firm.
Reading a row
- The reference is the client's quote, job or project number, as Deployr sent it.
- The line under the title gives the request type, a high or urgent priority, whether it is blocking the client's programme, and the date it is required by. An open request past that date reads overdue.
- Assigned to is the member of your firm carrying the request. It is set on the request's page.
- Step reached is the step after the last one done, with how many of the five are done.
- Received and Updated are when the request arrived and when it last changed.
Choose a client's name to fold its group away, and again to open it. The group's line counts its requests, how many are open, and any that need review or are awaiting information.
The counts
The strip across the top counts requests by status, with Assigned to me, open for your own desk. Pin the counts you want to keep in view; your choice is remembered in this browser.
When the inbox is empty
Requests reach Kelvin only from a client whose Deployr has your connection code, or from another system holding one of your firm's API keys. They can't be created on this screen. An owner or admin pairs a client under Settings → API & Integrations: see Pair with a client's Deployr.
