Reports you email for a client can go out from the client's own address rather than Kelvin's. The address is set up and verified in the client's Deployr, not in Kelvin, and comes over to Kelvin with their Deployr's context.
- 1
The client sets up and verifies their sending domain in their Deployr.
- 2
Kelvin picks it up the next time it pulls that client's Deployr context: the first time one of their requests is opened, or on Refresh context on a request's page.
- 3
Under Client email senders, check the organisation's Status, From address, Sender name and Reply-to.
- 4
Choose Send test. Kelvin sends a test email to you, from the address the client's mail will use.
The statuses
- Not configured: the client's Deployr has no sending domain set up.
- Pending in Deployr: the domain is set up but not yet verified.
- Verified: mail for this client goes out from its address.
- Failed: verification failed in their Deployr.
Until a sender reads Verified, mail for that client goes out from Kelvin's default address. Synced says when their Deployr last sent it.
Which mail uses it
Reports emailed from a request's page use the sender of the client that raised the request. On the Reports screen, choose the client under Send as (client organisation).
Note
A test email counts towards your firm's daily email limit, like any report email.
